"Don't tell me what I can and can't do..." says Jack Nicholson to Art Garfunkel in Mike Nichols' film Carnal Knowledge and on a short track(12) on my new album, Return of The Butter & Egg Man. That is what the album is all about, no limits. Music and especially hip-hop should be about the personality of the MC shining through like a giant pimple smack between your eyebrows! I like to experiment with different styles, strange voices, and multiple characters. With the B & E Man, I was able to do that. The presence of the B & E Man in the album is do to the Louis that I had been listening to while at work at the picture framing shop I've been working at for the last three years. I love that song and found out that even in hard economic times, the B & E men still had jobs and women were also pretty big fans of them as well for the money, for the man, and definitely for the fresh n' tasty butters and eggs!
